Simulate a conversation with your parents to prepare it better
Announcing a move, a change of studies, a relationship, or simply reconnecting after a rough patch: with parents, some conversations are harder than others. SimuChat helps you prepare them by simulating their replies from your real conversations.

Context : I'm going to announce that I'm moving to Manchester
hi mum, I've got some news 😊
Hello love! Tell me everything
I got the job in Manchester, I'm moving in January
Oh! Congratulations… But that's so far 😢
Let's talk about it this weekend, are you coming for lunch on Sunday?
Anticipate their reactions
You know their usual phrases, their worries, the way they reply by text. The simulation reproduces them from your conversations, so you can see how your news might be received and prepare your answers to the questions that are bound to come.
Choose your words
In the context, describe the situation ("I'm going to tell them I'm dropping out of uni", "we haven't spoken since Christmas") and write your message. Try several wordings: more reassuring, more direct, more detailed. You'll see which one opens the discussion best.
Practice, not a replacement
The simulation doesn't replace the real conversation, and your parents may surprise you. It's there to prepare you, so you feel calmer and clearer when you talk to them for real.
How it works
Three steps, a few minutes.
- 1
Export your conversations
From WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, Snapchat, TikTok, Android SMS or your iPhone (with the free Windows app). The guide walks you through every step.
- 2
Import them into SimuChat
Importing is free. SimuChat works out who wrote what and builds each contact's writing profile: message length, punctuation, emojis, favourite expressions, rhythm.
- 3
Chat with the simulation
Write as usual: the AI answers with their words, their humour and their rhythm, based on your real conversations.
Frequently asked questions
Can I import a family group chat?
SimuChat simulates one person at a time. Import your private conversation with your mum or dad instead: that's where the way they write to you is most representative.
My mum writes very little: does it still work?
The simulation needs a minimum number of messages from them to be usable. If your conversation is very short, the simulation will be less accurate, and SimuChat will tell you.
Can my parents object?
Yes. Anyone can object to their messages being used in SimuChat; they just need to write to the site's publisher.
SimuChat imitates a writing style, it doesn't read minds: the real person may react differently. For adults (18+) only; simulating a deceased person is not allowed.
Other situations

- Texting your exThinking about getting back in touch with your ex? Test your message on a simulation based on your old chats before sending it for real.
- Texting your crushNot sure what to text your crush? Test your messages on a simulation based on your real chats and find the right tone before sending.
- Reconnecting with a friendWant to text a friend you lost touch with but not sure what to say? Test your message on a simulation based on your old chats.
